Description:
Local residents spend countless hours handcrafting small versions of floats like those seen in the Aomori Nebuta Festival before they are paraded through the city streets. The floats are accompanied by flutes and drums, and a final demonstration is made in front of the judges near city hall.
Other Tips:
Don’t miss out on the final judging, usually held at the Chamber of Commerce building near Tsugaru City Hall.

| Getting There | From Goshogawara City, head West on Route 101 towards Ajigasawa. Several lights after Kashiwa Jusco turn right on Route 241 at the light with Asahi Dome. At the second light, turn left onto Route 245. Proceed through the lights in downtown Kizukuri and you will see Tsugaru City Hall on your right hand side. | ||
